I'm building a new water feature in my yard and I needed a pump. I was able to get this on from Amazon for half the price of the box stores. I liked the number of adapters they included with it so I had no trouble hooking up my first test pipe. The pump also has adapters so it can be used as a submersible or out of the water. Volume is more than I need right now, but eventually I'll build a waterfall and need it.

I have 4 aquariums- a 5 gallon, 10 gallon, 55 gallon and 125 gallon. Very difficult to do water changes for the 125 gallon and this pump has made the water changes in the 2 larger aquarium much easier. I highly recommend this pump for water changes! Thank goodness I found this pump, save my poor back from hauling water around.

This fountain pump arrived quickly and was packaged well. Very simple instructions came with it for assembly purposes. Since it will be a lot more complicated to actually set it up in our lake, I did a demo in a container to test the pump and show it in action. The sturdy pump house has two latches. I popped them open and saw that removing and cleaning the filters would be easy. The pump pipe has an adjuster knob to control the flow of water and height of the fountain spray. The fountain ends do not screw on. They simply set on the end of the pipe. I am worried that the water pressure will blow the fountain sprayer off and then it will be lost under water. When installing on the lake, I will probably find a way to better secure the loose parts. This is probably the only thing I can fault this fountain pump for. Now to watch some videos and get the pump installed in our lake. I am also going to shop for a timer and some fountain lights.
